Plesk: FTP STOR + RETR anchalten / Error “This FTP server does not support ExpanDrive connections”
Gestern bin ich noch über die Macsoftware ExpandDrive gestolpert die mir leider bei einer FTP Verbindung die Fehlermeldung “This FTP server does not support ExpanDrive connections” um die Ohren haute.
This message means that your FTP server does not support the FTP REST command. This command is used to set the starting point for the data transfer commands (STOR and RETR), and we use it to implement random-access reads and writes. Unfortunately, ExpanDrive can not function correctly without the FTP REST command.
Die Lösung für mich,unter Plesk (9) war relativ einfach:
- FTP Configurationsdatei öffnen vi /etc/proftpd.conf und folgende Zeilen anhängen (sofern diese nicht schon existieren)
AllowStoreRestart on
- FTP Server neustarten /etc/init.d/xinetd restart
